Quit my job in 4 months., Jan 30, 2009

| I started Joe's mentor program 8 months ago. When I watched his videos and listened to all the free stuff he sends out, I learned things for FREE that I'd never heard from any other guru... and I've spent a LOT of money on training. I also thought he looked like a down to earth, family guy and that I could trust what he had to say. So I decided to buy into Joe's six month mentor program and believe me, this is not a cheap program and I was a little nervous!
I've been wanting to quit my job and be an investor for the last 6 years and have spent a lot of time and money learning, but never seemed to figure out how to get started.
I think that may be the best thing I got from Joe. He really did take me by the hand and show me exactly what I needed to do to get started. He laid it all out for me and I started making offers the FIRST week. He makes everybody in his program do this. He really pushed me into the deep end of the pool. But I should also say that the kind of offers I was making required no risk. I wasn't risking my money or my credit (I didn't have much of either).
By the second week, I had an offer accepted. By the third week, I found a buyer for that deal and earned $10k.
Joe told me it would take 3 to 4 months to make my first money, but I think he was just setting my expectations low. A lot of us in his group have made money this quickly.
I read one of the reviews below and that guy had a completely different experience than I did. Joe never promised that he would talk on the phone with me all day whenever I wanted - I don't know what that other guy was thinking. He promised to talk to me on his conference calls that he did every two weeks. I don't know about that other guy, but I can tell you, I've been in a lot of coaching programs and I've never been in one where we got to talk to the guy who created the material. They'd always pass us off on some assistant who wasn't really investing. Joe also answered all my emails, looked at my contracts when I faxed them to him and always got back to me the next day.
Anyway, I've been all the way through his program now. I was able to quit my job on the 4th month (probably could have done it sooner, but I was afraid that this was too good to last - especially because of the economy) and my business keeps growing and getting easier as I implement more of Joe's automation.
Once I learned how to make offers that make money, he took me to the next step and taught me how to automate the business, so now I am making about $20k a month (my best month so far has been $42k - I only made $60k a *year* in my old job) and working about 4 hours a day. Joe says, "This is not rocket science, folks" and he's right, but I don't think I could have got where I am without his help.
I know this might sound kind of hokey, but it changed my life and writing this review is my way of giving back to him just a little of what he gave me. Thanks Joe.

| I've been in the Joe Crump Mentor Program, Yes I belly up the big price for the program. I felt that with a personal touch from the master, and having access to him as needed would finally give me the edge to structure deals, and have him fill in the blanks , so to speak.
I must say the Mentor program came way up short. Joe's time is very precious to him, which is great, but don't be a mentor. In the 26 weeks that I was in his program it was really hard to get in touch with him outside of his scheduled call time. Don't use the phone, he'll never answer it. E-mails get mysteriously lost, while you are anxiously waiting for a response to a critical question. After several emails to a half a dozen email addresses he responses, which is long after the need to get the question answered.
In the seminar that is held twice a year, it is mediocre at best. Not all of the material that was expected to be covered was. Joe tries to cram in 3 1/2 to four days of work in to 2 very long days and he still comes up short - was really disappointed with the seminar, my expectations was not met.
You would do much better by purchasing his CD sets, which gives you scheduled access to him, and attend a seminar, and save your self 6 grand, and get the same education that I got.
I met one of Joe CD study students, and he has gotten more 1 on 1 time with Joe then I ever had, and I was the Mentor student. GO figure?
SAVE YOUR MONEY - Don't do the MENTOR PROGRAM!
Azam Meo - Rocks! |

| Want to make money. Buy Joe's push button method. Follow it to the letter. If you do, you will make money. If you don't make money, you didn't listen to the tapes and follow his directions. PERIOD. I do not know Joe, but made $10,500.00 the very first week that I used Joe's method. |

| Bought Joe's $1000 package - if you put in a LOT more work than he tells you you'll need to do, then it might all work for you. I followed his marketing and strategies to the letter, spend many hundreds of dollars and had nothing to show for it other than wasted time. However, he DID give me a full refund, and that speaks volumes about his character. Try to get a refund from any other guru, and I bet you won't be able to. Joe does have some very unique ideas and strategies that I have not seen anywhere else. |

| I have went through Joe's material and it is good stuff, but perhaps one of the most enlightening discoveries was Azam Meo. I agree with Rob Turner below, Azam is a true genius. His weekly show is the most entertaining and educational experience I have ever seen. Joe's products are great too but when I Googled Azam this site came up. Meos ideas and approach are far beyond real estate and his free show alone is worth more than any program I have purchased. |

| I have been reseaching and studying real estate investment guru's for many years.I have purchased a lot of courses, most of which never quite gave you the complete skinny or the confidence to go out and actually do some deals.I like Joe Crump but his protege,Azam Meo,is fantastic.Azam is the real deal and is truly interested in helping people first.I have purchased Azams course for less than $100 and consider it to be the most valuable course out there, especially for the beginning investor. He invented the techniques that he uses and really is an innovative thinker. |

Its What You Make of It, Aug 09, 2006

| I bought the arrogantly named "stupid-proof" system from Joe Crump. It is true that it is a binder with a lot of powerpoint photocopied slides in a binder and some sample contracts.
There are other little ebooks included and an automatic subscription to his newsletter that if you dont make sure you get a confirmed cancellation your credit card will be charged $39.95 a month..been there done that.
While there are a few unique ideas on some of the CDs, you will not get support unless you join the mentoring program (expensive).
Although the CDs are for the most part annoying because they have little content, what you see is that there are real people doing elements of what he teaches and and are successful.
The students are interesting to listen to...Mr. Crump, in my opinion, though experienced, talks endlessly about things not related to subject at hand and fills the CD with platitudes instead of staying focused so the students know what to focus on based on his lead.
There was perhaps 10 minutes of Azam Meo, one of Mr. Crump's ultra successful students, opening a deal over the phone which was good to hear, even over the chatter of Crump, you could hear most of the call.
I am working on a couple of the ideas that were brought up by Mr. Meo because they fit my situation and because I can relate to him more easily. I cant relate to someone who is already rich...I am not.
And I dont think people who really are rich take a second of their time to help others by showing them what they did. They will give you the party line but they will never tell you step by step what they did...you have to read between the lines and surf 100s of websites to fill in the blanks...do that part of the drill and you will be on your way, Im sure, to success.
I will return to this site and report on my progress to assist others who are spending hard earned dollars to let them know If I in fact wasted mine or if the program is actually worth it. |

Not a Guru, Jul 29, 2006

| Joe Crumps material, has got to be the worst out. He fills his pages in the composition notebook that he sends out, with fonts that are 28 in size. And the pages aren't double sided either. All he is trying to do is take up space. His audio doesn't even go into details. What he should consider is taping one of his seminars, but instead, he records conversations with his students that are trying to put deals together. All they are doing is asking silly questions. If you are looking for meat, you will not get it with his course.
The advertisements that he wants you to put out there in the real arena of business is a joke. He tells you to put ads in the paper just like everyone elses. His reason is because they work. I don't think so.Save your money. |
